BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  Effective January 1, 2005, the city of Federal Way annexed the Redondo East, North Lake and Southwest Parkway areas (the "annexed areas").
2.  By Ordinance 15120 approved February 22, 2005, the county council authorized the executive to enter into an interlocal agreement with the city of Federal Way relating to the processing of building and land use applications in the annexed areas.  
3.  In the interest of ensuring a smooth transition of services to residents of the annexed areas, the city of Federal Way wishes to enter into a further interlocal agreement with the county to address transfer of public records, transfer of ownership of surface water management facilities, and other matters.
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
 
      SECTION 1.  The county executive is hereby authorized to enter into an interlocal agreement, substantially in the form attached, with the city of Federal Way.
