Title
AN ORDINANCE relating to extension of interim use permits; and amending Ordinance 16515, Section 4, and K.C.C. 20.20.105.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. Ordinance 16515, Section 4, and K.C.C. 20.20.105, are hereby amended to read as follows:
A. Upon written request to the department made by the applicant before the expiration of a permit for a conditional use, variance, alteration exception or reasonable use exception, the department may extend the period of the permit for one year if:
((A.)) 1. Regulations governing the approval of the land use decision have not changed;
((B.)) 2. Site conditions have not significantly changed in a manner that would have affected the original permit approval; and
((C.)) 3. The applicant pays applicable permit extension fees.
B. Upon written request to the department made by the applicant before the expiration of an interim use permit, the department may extend the permit for one or more one-year period, up to a total of five consecutive years, if:
1. Regulations governing the approval of the land use decision have not changed;
2. Site conditions have not significantly changed in a manner that would have
affected the original permit approval; and
3. The applicant pays applicable permit extension fees.
