BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. This ordinance makes supplemental disappropriations from the department of transportation and the department of development and environmental services for the second half of the biennial budget, and amends the 2012/2013 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 17232. Effective January 1, 2013, expenditure restrictions and provisos affecting the amended operating budget sections will lapse, requiring the inclusion in the 2013/2014 budget of any expenditure restriction or proviso that needs to remain in effect during 2013.
SECTION 2. Ordinance 17232, Section 4, as amended, is hereby amended to read as follows:
The 2012/2013 Biennium Budget is hereby adopted and, subject to the provisions hereinafter set forth and the several amounts hereinafter specified or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to accomplish the purposes designated, appropriations are hereby authorized out of several funds for the department of transportation and department of development and environmental services appropriation units to be distributed for salaries, wages and other expenses, for capital improvements, and for other specified purposes for the fiscal biennium beginning January 1, 2012, and ending December 31, 2013.
