| Proposed Motion 2002-0224 was placed on the Metropolitan King County Council agenda to be
rereferred to the Committee-of-the-Whole. Proposed Motion 2002-0251 was placed on the Metropolitan King County Council agenda for introduction and referral to the Law, Justice and Human Services Committee with the understanding of the possibility of it being briefed before the Regional Policy Committee. |

| Councilmember Hague moved to approve the meeting minutes of May 13, 2002 and May 20, 2002,
as presented. The motion passed. |

| 3. | Recognizing Johnny Wade as the King County Metro Transit Operator of the Year. | |||
| Councilmembers Dwight Pelz and McKenna read and presented the special recognition to Johnny
Wade proclaiming him the King County Metro Transit Operator of the Year. Mr. Wade thanked the Committee. |
