The meeting of the Transportation Committee was called to order at 1:06 P.M. by Chair Pelz.

The minutes of May 8 and 15, 2002 meeting were approved as written.

AN ORDINANCE directing that 119th Avenue Southeast from Southeast 170th Place to the
Cascade Vista Shopping Center be closed.
Doug Hodson, Council Staff, briefed the Committee on Proposed Ordinance 2002-0212. Paulette
Norman, Road Services Division was present to answer questions of the Committee.

Southeast - Phase I, Right-of-Way No. 9-1992-001.
Doug Hodson, Council Staff, briefed the Committee on Proposed Ordinance 2002-0206. Matthew
Nolan, Road Services Division, DOT, was present to answer questions of the Committee. There were
2 amendments adopted 5-0-2 with Councilmembers McKenna and Gossett excused.
 
A motion was made by Ms. Edmonds that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Substitute
Consent. The motion carried by the following vote:
