The meeting was called to order at 1:36 p.m.

Mr. Irons led the flag salute and Pledge of Allegiance.
 
Approval of Minutes of August 16, 2004

Mr. von Reichbauer moved to approve the minutes of the August 16, 2004 meeting as presented.
Seeing no objection, the Chair so ordered.
 
Special Item
2.
Presentation of a Certificate of Recognition for the "USA-China Invitational- Road to Beijing"
Athletic, Student Exchange, Public Health, Cultural, Arts and Economic Development Event
Scheduled for June 2005.
Ms. Patterson commented on the USA-China Invitational-Road to Beijing event. She read the
recognition and presented it to Laura Lockard, Director of Government Affairs, Seattle Organizing
Committee. Ms. Lockard thanked the Council.

Ms. Edmonds briefed the Council on the recent meeting of Seattle-North King County Transportation
Board, held at Lake Forest Park. She indicated there were discussions and briefings on Sound
Transit Phase II planning and Executive Ron Sims' proposal regarding local option gas tax.

Brooks Village - Council District 5
Mr. Constantine moved to adopt the DDES finding of fact that the final plat of Brooks Village
complies with the conditions of preliminary plat approval and other applicable laws, and that the
Chair is authorized to signify Council approval by signing the final plat at the end of the meeting.
Seeing no objection, the Chair so ordered.
Olympic Peak Estates - Council District 5
Mr. Constantine moved to adopt the DDES finding of fact that the final plat of Olympic Peak Estates
complies with the conditions of preliminary plat approval and other applicable laws, and that the
Chair is authorized to signify Council approval by signing the final plat at the end of the meeting.
Seeing no objection, the Chair so ordered.
Annandale - Council District 9
Mr. Constantine moved to adopt the DDES finding of fact that the final plat of Annandale complies
with the conditions of preliminary plat approval and other applicable laws, and that the Chair is
authorized to signify Council approval by signing the final plat at the end of the meeting. Seeing no
objection, the Chair so ordered.

AN ORDINANCE abolishing various operating and capital funds and sub-funds in fiscal
year 2004; transferring any remaining net assets and fund balances; amending Ordinance
12076, Section 9, as amended, and K.C.C. 4.08.015.
On 8/23/2004, a public hearing was held and closed.
