AN ORDINANCE making a supplemental appropriation of $1,302,287 to the public
transportation construction unrestricted fund to provide funding that will complete the
RFQ/RFP phase of the radio/AVL replacement project; and amending the 2004 Budget
Ordinance, Ordinance 14797, Section 122, as amended, and Attachment B, as amended.
On 5/10/2004, a public hearing was held and closed.
The enacted number is 14904.

Proposed Motion No. 2004-0240 Ms. Edmonds
A MOTION adopting the policy framework to guide the King County executive in the
development of a plan for a long-term approach to locating Tent City 4, in collaboration
with Seattle Housing and Resource Effort and the Women's Housing, Equality and
Enhancement League and faith-based and not-for-profit community organizations in King
County; and directing the county executive to negotiate with Seattle Housing and Resource
Effort and the Women's Housing, Equality and Enhancement League for future use of
nonpark county-owned property under certain conditions while the long-term plan is in
development.
Mr. Hammond moved to relieve the Labor, Operations and Technology Committee of further
consideration of Proposed Motion 2004-0240 and rerefer to Committee-of-the-Whole. Seeing no
objection, the Chair so ordered.

Executive Session
The Chair recessed the meeting into Executive Session to discuss with
legal counsel litigation or potential litigation to which the County is or is
likely to become a party when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the County, at 1:57 p.m.
The Chair reconvened the meeting at 2:29 p.m.
