Ms. Hague commented on her participation at the Western Washington meeting of the Washington
Association of Counties, and in particular the budget situations that have arisen in all counties as a result of the legislative session. She also indicated that King County was well represented at the meeting. The Chair thanked those members who were in attendance and Ms. Hague for all of her hard work on King County's behalf. The Chair recognized Mr. Phillips for having received the Public Official of the Year Award from 1000 Friends of Washington, and acknowledged a number of areas to which he had given his support. Mr. Phillips thanked the Council. |
