A RESOLUTION of the King County transportation district, fixing and imposing a one-tenth of one
percent sales and use tax within the boundaries of the district to finance transportation improvements, as
authorized by RCW 36.73.040, 36.73.065, and 82.14.0455.

Supervisor Dembowski moved Amendment 1. The motion failed by the following vote:
YES: 3 - Supervisor Barón, Supervisor Dembowski, Supervisor von Reichbauer
NO: 6 - Supervisor Dunn, Supervisor Fain, Supervisor Lewis, Supervisor Mosqueda,
Supervisor Perry, Supervisor Balducci
EXCUSED: 0
Supervisor Fain moved Amendment 2.
Leon Richardson, Director, Department of Local Services, briefed the District and
answered questions.
The Chair recessed the meeting at 12:17 p.m.

Monique Cohen, Chief Legal Counsel, briefed the District and answered questions.
Supervisor Dembowski offered an oral amendment to Amendment 2, On Line 3, strike
"Twenty-five" and insert "Twenty". The motion failed by the following vote:
YES: 4 - Supervisor Barón, Supervisor Dembowski, Supervisor Fain, and Supervisor
Balducci
NO: 5 - Supervisor Dunn, Supervisor Lewis, Supervisor Mosqueda, Supervisor Perry,
and Supervisor von Reichbauer
EXCUSED: 0
Supervisor Dunn offered an oral amendment to Amendment 2, On Line 3, strike
"Twenty-five" and insert "Twelve and one-half". The motion failed by the following vote:
YES: 4 - Supervisor Dunn, Supervisor Mosqueda, Supervisor Perry, and Supervisor
Balducci
NO: 5 - Supervisor Barón, Supervisor Dembowski, Supervisor Fain, Supervisor Lewis,
and Supervisor von Reichbauer

Chair Balducci announced that TD Resolution No. TD2026-01 would be postponed
indefinitely.
A motion was made by Supervisor Dunn that this resolution be considered.
