This meeting of the Growth Management and Unincorporated Areas Committee will include three
ordinances amending the Countywide Planning Policies to designate Burien as an urban center, make
technical corrections to growth targets, and make adjustments to the Urban Growth Boundary consistent
with the 2004 King County Comprehensive Plan update. The agenda also includes an ordinance
authorizing the Executive to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Federal Way for permit
processing in annexation areas. Public testimony will not be taken at this meeting. A public hearing will
be held in full council for Proposed Ordinances 2005-0045, 2005-0046, and 2005-0047.

AN ORDINANCE adopting amendments to the Countywide Planning Policies; designating
downtown Burien as an Urban Center; ratifying the amended Countywide Planning Policies for
unincorporated King County; and amending Ordinance 10450, Section 3, as amended, and
K.C.C. 20.10.030 and Ordinance 10450, Section 4, as amended, and K.C.C. 20.10.040.

AN ORDINANCE adopting amendments to the Countywide Planning Policies; revising targets
for new household and job growth for the period 2002-2022; ratifying the amended Countywide
Planning Policies for unincorporated King County; and amending Ordinance 10450, Section 3,
as amended, and K.C.C. 20.10.030 and Ordinance 10450, Section 4, as amended, and K.C.C.
20.10.040.

urban growth boundary map, the interim potential annexation areas map and the urban separator

10450, Section 4, as amended, and K.C.C. 20.10.040.
