The Regional Transit Committee was called to order at 3:12 p.m. by Rob McKenna, Chair, in the
Metropolitan King County Council Chambers, 10th Floor, King County Courthouse. |

The minutes of the March 19, 2003 meeting were unanimously approved as presented. | ||||
2. | Chair's Report | |||
Mr. McKenna thanked the members of the committee who expressed their sorrow at the passing of
King County Councilmember Kent Pullen. Mr. McKenna announced that there would be a public memorial service on honoring Mr. Pullen on Thursday, April 24. Mr. McKenna thanked Rick Walsh, General Manager, Transit Division, for a very enjoyable and informative tour of the transit facilities which was attended by many of the members. |

Mr. Pelz announced that the Metro Control Center, which members visited today during the transit
facilities tour, is a topic of discussion in the King County Transportation Committee. |

Victor Obeso, Supervisor, Service Implementation Group, Transit Division, briefed the committee
and answered questions from the members on the Six-Year Plan Strategy S-12 which discusses transit service to special events. Julie Corman, Supervisor, Transit Division, answered questions from the members. |
