Approval of Minutes of November 20, 2025 and January 29, 2026

Boardmember Foster moved to approve the minutes of the November 20, 2025 and

January 29, 2026, meetings as presented. Seeing no objection, the Chair so ordered.

State Legislative Session Update

Simon Vila, Government Relations Officer, Public Health - Seattle & King County,

briefed the Board and answered questions.

Resolution No. 26-03

A RESOLUTION in support of Foundational Public Health Services funding.

Matias Valenzuela, Director, Office of Equity & Community Partnerships, Public Health

- Seattle & King County; Jackie Vaughn, Executive Director, Surge Reproductive

Justice; Rosi Bolatagici, Pasifika Food Networks Manager, Pacific Islander

Community Association of Washington; Ryan Kellogg, Assistant Division Director,

Environmental Health Services, Public Health - Seattle & King County; briefed the

Board and answered questions.

A public hearing was held and closed. A motion was made by Boardmember

Daniels that this Resolution be Passed. The motion carried by the following

A RESOLUTION adopting the 2026 work plan for the King County Board of Health.

Joy Carpine-Cazzanti, Board of Health Administrator, briefed the Board and answered

questions.

Boardmember Foster moved Amendment 1. The motion carried.

A Public hearing was held and closed. A motion was made by Boardmember

Foster that this Resolution be Passed as Amended. The motion carried by the

following vote:
