The meeting of the Transportation Committee was called to order at 1:12 P.M. by Chair Pelz.

A MOTION confirming the executive's appointment of Mickey Alfonso, who resides in
council district three, to the King County accessible services advisory committee.
Doug Hodson, Council Staff, briefed the Committee on Proposed Motion 2003-0226. Ms. Mickey
Alfonso was present to brief and answer questions from the Committee on her appointment to the
King County accessible services advisory committee. This matter passed out of committee subject to
signatures.
A motion was made by Mr. McKenna that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Consent. The
motion carried by the following vote:

AN ORDINANCE revising transportation concurrency exemptions for specific
nonresidential development; and amending Ordinance 14050, Section 15, as amended, and
K.C.C. 14.70.280.
Doug Hodson, Council Staff, briefed the Committee on Proposed Ordinance 2003-0299. There was a
striking amendment adopted. There were two different versions of the ordinance transmitted to the
Council. The purpose of the striking amendment is to clarify the accurate version of the ordinance
as intended by the Executive.
A motion was made by Mr. McKenna that this matter be Recommended Do Pass Substitute.
