Phillips requested a moment of silence for the family and friends. |
Mr. Hammond reported on a discussion of the last meeting of the Regional Water Quality |

Committee. The committee members were briefed on the backbone project. The wastewater |
treatment division presented their position for water reuse. The members were notified of a do or die |
opportunity to have a purple pipe included as part of the bid for the tunnel. The committee members |
felt that the wastewater treatment division's White Paper did not appear to make the business case to |

place the purple pipe in the tunnel even though they agreed on the membrane technology for water |
reuse. The committee was not convinced that they were given the information they needed to make a |
decision. |

catch and keep of trout from the Cedar River for the first time in a long time. There was discussion |
regarding the Lion's Club restoration project and their property regarding restoration, flooding and |
