AN ORDINANCE authorizing the BNSF Rail Line acquisition project for the preservation of

transportation right-of-way in eastside King County cities and making a supplemental

appropriation of $3,800,000 to the real estate excise tax I and open space King County non

bond sub-fund; amending the 2005 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 15083, Sections 114 and 117,

as amended, and Attachments B and E, as amended.

A MOTION approving the facilities management division report, titled Feasibility Study -

Relocate and Backfill Work Release, and supporting the conclusion that King County is best

served by not pursuing an alternative at this time of relocating and backfilling the courthouse

space currently occupied by the King County work release program in response to a proviso

outlined in Ordinance 14812, Section 2.

AN ORDINANCE relating to comprehensive planning; adopting the 2004 King County space

plan; altering the space plan submittal requirements; and amending Ordinance 10810, Section 1,

as amended, and K.C.C. 20.12.100.

AN ORDINANCE making a supplemental appropriation of $667,000 to the building repair and

replacement fund to provide the necessary spending authority to expeditiously proceed with

completing due diligence and related programming and planning required to proceed with the

acquisition and redevelopment of a potential site for the consolidation of elections operations as

well as for core data center operations of the information and telecommunication services

division; and amending the 2005 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 15083, Section 114, as

amended, and Attachment B, as amended.
