Boardmember Falcone moved to approve the minutes of the May 21, 2026, meeting as

Chair Daniels provided an update on a letter from the Board to the State Department of  
Health regarding improving access to massage licensure, and congratulated Dr.  
Sandra Valenciano, Director of Public Health, on her recent confirmation.

Dr. Valenciano reported on her recent confirmation as Director of Public Health, FIFA  
activities in Seattle, the recent extreme heat occurrence, Hantavirus cases, an Ebola  
outbreak, and a Measles update.
