William Nogle, Council Staff, briefed the committee and answered questions on Proposed Ordinance
2004-0105. Caroline Whalen, Deputy County Administrative Officer, Department of Executive Services and John Anthony, Deputy Division Manager, Information and Telecommunications Services, Department of Executive Services presented remarks and answered question of the members. A motion was made by Mr. Irons to pass Amendment 2. The motion passed 6-0 with Mr. McKenna, Ms. Hague and Mr. Constantine excused. |

Ordinance, and the 2003 Budget Ordinance regarding the King County Correctional Facility integrated security electronic project; modifying certain proviso language; and amending the 2002 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 14265, Section 199, as amended, Ordinance 14517, Section 118, as amended, and the 2003 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 14517, Section 118, as amended. |

questions on Proposed Ordinances 2004-0237. Cheryle Broom, King County Auditor, presented opening remarks and answered questions of the members. Bob Thomas and Ron Perry, Principal Management Auditors, King County Auditor's Office, answered questions of the members. Larry Mayes, Interim Director, Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention, presented remarks and answered questions of the members. Kathy Brown, Director, Facilities Management Division, Department of Executive Services, answered questions of the members. A motion was made by Mr. Irons to pass the striking amendment.
