Heidi Daniel, Executive Director, King County Library System (KCLS), Jeff Guddat,  
Trustee, KCLS, and John Sheller, Government Relations Manager, KCLS, briefed the  
committee via a PowerPoint presentation and answered questions from the members.

Haick, Political and Legislative Director, SEIU 925, briefed the committee via a  
PowerPoint presentation and answered questions from the members.

Report on an e-bike rebate, e-bike lending library, and e-bike ownership grant pilot program plan required  
by the 2023-2024 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 19546, Section 17, as amended by Ordinance  
19633, Section 9, Proviso P6  
Jenny Giambattista, council staff, briefed the committee. Ross Freeman, Electric  
Vehicle Planner, Executive Climate Office, also addressed the committee.

A MOTION approving the extension of the executive's appointment of Danielle de Clercq as acting  
director of the King County department of local services.  
Andy Micklow, Council staff, briefed the committee. Penny Lipsou, Director of Council  
Relations, Office of King County Executive, also addressed the committee.  
This matter was expedited to the July 2, 2024 Council agenda.  
A motion was made by Councilmember Perry that this Motion be  
Recommended Do Pass Consent. The motion carried by the following vote:
