Presentation of a Certificate of Recognition to King County Sheriff's Officer Peter Truong of
Precinct #4 to honor him for being named one of six recipients of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer's 2002 Jefferson Awards. |

Mr. McKenna read and presented the recognition and noted that Officer Truong is the first King
County employee to receive this award. Officer Truong thanked the Council. Captain Dave Walker commented on the importance of this award, indicating it is the 25th year the Seattle Post Intelligencer is sponsoring the Jefferson Award in Washington State. He praised Officer Truong for his achievements. |
