Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 9:44 a.m.

Present: Ms. Sullivan, Ms. Edmonds, Mr. von Reichbauer, Ms. Lambert, Mr. Phillips, Mr. Pelz, Mr.
McKenna, Mr. Constantine, Mr. Hammond, Mr. Gossett, Mr. Irons and Ms. Patterson
Excused: Ms. Hague
LAND USE APPEALS
The hearing was conducted and closed on the following items by the Hearing Examiner as
required by K.C.C. 20.24.130. No new material that was not part of the record before the
Hearing Examiner may be submitted in accordance with K.C.C. 20.24.220.
 
The Chair set a limit of 10 minutes for each side. Items 1 and 2 were considered together.

AN ORDINANCE denying the appeal by the applicant and concurring with the
recommendation of the hearing examiner to approve, subject to the conditions
recommended by the examiner, a preliminary plat of Evendell, on certain property located
on the south side of SE 136th Street, between 158th Avenue SE and 160th Avenue SE, at
the request of U.S. Land Development Association/Centurion, as particularly described in
DDES file no. L01P0016.
The enacted number is 14695.
A motion was made by Mr. Phillips that this matter be Passed. The motion carried by the
following vote:

Yes: 9 - Ms. Sullivan, Ms. Edmonds, Mr. von Reichbauer, Mr. Phillips, Mr. Pelz, Mr. Constantine,
Mr. Gossett, Mr. Irons and Ms. Patterson
No: 3 - Ms. Lambert, Mr. McKenna and Mr. Hammond

AN ORDINANCE denying the appeal by U.S. Land Development/Centurion and
concurring with the recommendation of the hearing examiner to deny the request for
reclassification of certain property located on the south side of SE 136th Street, between
156th Avenue SE and 160th Avenue SE, as particularly described in DDES file no.
L01TY401.
The enacted number is 14694.

Duana Kolouskova, representing U.S. Land Development, appellant, spoke.

Gwendolyn High, representing Citizens Alliance for a Responsible Evendell, respondent, spoke.

Jim O'Connor, Hearing Examiner, explained the appeal issues and his recommendations.

Kevin Wright, Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, answered questions of the Council.

The Chair recessed the meeting at 10:50 a.m..
The Chair reconvened the meeting at 11:23 a.m..
