Pursuant to K.C.C. 1.24.035 A. and F., this meeting is also noticed as a  
meeting of the Metropolitan King County Council, whose agenda is limited  
to the committee business. In this meeting only the rules and procedures  
applicable to committees apply and not those applicable to full council  
meetings.  
HOW TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT: The Regional Policy Committee  
values community input and looks forward to hearing from you on agenda  
items.  
The Committee will accept public comment on items on today’s agenda in  
writing. You may do so by submitting your written comments to

a.m. on the day of the meeting, your comments will be distributed to the

Mayor Birney moved approval of the September 30, 2024 Special meeting minutes.  
There being no objections, the minutes were approved.

Proposed Ordinance No. 2024-0236  
AN ORDINANCE approving the King County Doors Open Program implementation plan, required by  
Ordinance 19710, Section 9, to govern the expenditure of the cultural access sales and use tax from  
2024 through 2031 to achieve outcomes related to public and educational benefits and economic support  
for arts, science, and heritage organizations; amending section 1 of this ordinance, repealing Attachment  
A to this ordinance, and establishing an effective date.

Committee and answered questions from the members. There was an amedment A1  
moved by Mayor Birney, the amendment was adopted.  
This item was expedited to the November 26, 2024 Council Agenda.

the vote on this item is misreported. The correct vote is:
