Special Item
2.
Presentation of a Recognition to Coach Fred Ockerman and the Kirkland City Bombers, the
Continental Amateur Baseball Champions
Ms. Hague read the recognition and presented it to Coach Ockerman and the Kirkland City
Bombers. Coach Ockerman thanked the Council. The team members introduced themselves as well
as Coaches Eric Kirbach, Jim Neidigh and Bob Wilson.
 
Reports on Special and Outside Committees
3.
Ms. Edmonds reported on the Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area, which was formed to
build the Northshore Senior Center. It's newest project, the Senior Wellness Center, is on time and
on budget and opening day is scheduled for February 1, 2005. The members discussed an aquatic
study and the next steps in promoting this partnership with other cities. Ms. Edmonds was reelected
to Chair for a second year.

Woodbrook 4 - Division 1 - Council District 7
Mr. Constantine moved to adopt the DDES finding of fact that the final plat of Woodbrook 4 -
Division 1 complies with the conditions of preliminary plat approval and other applicable laws, and
that the Chair is authorized to signify Council approval by signing the final plat at the end of the
meeting. Seeing no objection, the Chair so ordered.

AN ORDINANCE relating to school impact fees; adopting the Capital Facilities Plans of
the Federal Way, Riverview, Issaquah, Snoqualmie Valley, Lake Washington, Kent,
Northshore, Fife and Auburn school districts as subelements of the capital facilities element
of the King County Comprehensive Plan for purposes of implementing the school impact
fee program; establishing school impact fees to be collected by King County on behalf of
the districts; and amending Ordinance 10470, Section 2, as amended, and K.C.C.
20.12.461, Ordinance 10472, Section 2, as amended, and K.C.C. 20.12.462, Ordinance

and Utilities Committee.

This is a nonmandatory referral to the Regional Policy Committee under King County Charter
270.30 and KCC 1.24.0651. as an issue that is not a countywide policy or plan but would benefit
from interjurisdictional discussion.
