A MOTION confirming the executive's appointment of Sercan Hepsener, who resides in council district  
seven, to the King County immigrant and refugee commission.  
Melissa Bailey, Council staff, briefed the Committee. Sercan Hepsener, appointee,  
Dae Shogren, staff liaison, King County Immigrant and Refugee Commission, and  
Brian Chu, staff liaison, King County Immigrant and Refugee Commission, answered  
questions from the members.  
A motion was made by Councilmember Mosqueda that this Motion be  
Recommended Do Pass Consent. The motion carried by the following vote:

the Harborview Medical Center board of trustees, as the district nine representative.  
Sam Porter, Council staff, briefed the committee. Paul Graves, appointee, and  
Dorothy Teeter, First Vice President, Harborview Medical Center Board of Trustees,  
answered questions from the members.  
A motion was made by Councilmember Dunn that this Motion be
