AN ORDINANCE relating to the sale of the surplus property located at 18005 107th Ave SW, Vashon,  
Washington, in council district eight.  
Gene Paul, Council staff, briefed the committee. Councilmember Mosqueda moved  
striking amendment S1. The amendment was adopted.  
This matter was expedited to the September 17, 2024, Council agenda.  
A motion was made by Councilmember Mosqueda that this Ordinance be  
Recommended Do Pass Substitute. The motion carried by the following vote:

A MOTION requesting the executive establish a regional workforce housing initiative and develop an  
implementation plan on options to utilize excess debt capacity to partner with housing agencies and  
housing developers to provide permanently rent-restricted multiple-unit housing.  
April Sanders, Council staff, briefed the committee. Dwight Dively, Director, Office of  
Performance, Strategy and Budget, answered questions from the members.  
This matter was Deferred

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the condemnation of real property to obtain easements, and other rights in  
property for the construction of the Rapid Ride I Line in the city of Renton.  
Mary Bourguignon, Council staff, briefed the committee and answered questions from  
the members. Mark Ellerbrook, Director, Capital Division, Metro Transit, and Janine  
Robinson, Transit Capital Project Manager, Capital Division, Metro Transit, addressed  
the committee. Councilmember Perry moved amendment 1. The amendment was  
adopted.  
This item will be held for the October 1, 2024, Council agenda.  
A motion was made by Councilmember Perry that this Ordinance be
