The Labor, Operations and Technology Committee meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. in the
Metropolitan King County Council Chambers, 10th Floor, King County Courthouse, by Chair Dow Constantine. |

AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the collective bargaining agreement negotiated
by and between King County and Washington State Council of County and City Employees, Council 2, Local 21AD, representing employees in the department of adult and juvenile detention; and establishing the effective date of said agreement. |

Mike Alvine, Council Staff, briefed the committee. Claudia Balducci, Labor Negotiator, Labor
Relations, Department of Executive Services and Ron Kintner, President, WSCCCE, Local 21-AD, answered questions from the members. |

A motion was made by Mr. Hammond that this matter be Recommended Do Pass. The motion
carried by the following vote: |

AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the memorandum of agreement regarding
Psychiatric Evaluation Specialists and one Administrative Specialist II negotiated by and between King County, Washington State Council of County and City Employees Local 21HD and Washington State Council of County and City Employees Local 21AD; approving and adopting an agreement regarding the Administrative Specialist II position negotiated by and between King County, Washington State Council of County and City Employees Local 21HD, Washington State Council of County and City Employees Local 21AD and International Federation of Professional & Technical Engineers Local 17; these agreements represent employees in the departments of public health and juvenile and adult detention; and establishing the effective date of said agreements. |
