The meeting was called to order at 1:38 p.m.

Mr. von Reichbauer moved to approve the minutes of the May 5, 2003 meeting without reading.

Reports on Special and Outside Committees

Mr. Irons reported on the Eastside Transportation Partnership. Some of the discussion items were
how the five cent gas tax would impact the RTID, the I-90 Draft EIS, and Sound Transit and long
term capacities and eastside TIB projects. Mr. Irons also indicated that Mr. Richard Conlin, Seattle
City Councilmember, was present and expressed his desire to become a member of the ETP.

Ms. Hague reported that a joint meeting of the PSRC Transportation and Growth Management
Policy Boards was held on May 8, 2003. Agenda items included a briefing on the transportation
accountability initiative, roadways and ferries, an overview of concurrency issues and a briefing on
the TIB funding priorities.
