A MOTION accepting response to the 2011 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 16984, Section 112, Proviso P3, department of executive services, in compliance with Ordinance 16984; and authorizing the release of $250,000 currently held in reserve.

      WHEREAS, the 2011 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 16984, contains a proviso in Section 112, facilities management services fund, stating $250,000 shall not be expended or encumbered until the executive transmits and the council adopts a motion that references the proviso's ordinance, section and number and states that the executive has responded to the proviso, and
      WHEREAS, the county executive has transmitted to the council a response that contains the required information responding to the proviso, specifically to provide:
      1.  Project scopes, including project description and any explanation of scope changes;
      2.  Project budgets, including life to date appropriations, estimate at completion and project baseline;
      3.  Project schedules, including current phase, project status and phase start and end dates;
      4.  Project management hours, including project manager identification, project management hours expended on the project to date and total projected project management hours;
      5.  Milestones and or work items that were to be completed in the quarter and whether the milestone was missed or not completed; and
      6.  All other issues specified in Ordinance 16984, Section 112, Proviso P3, and
      WHEREAS, the council has reviewed the department of executive services, facilities management division report;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      The proviso response is hereby accepted and the $250,000 currently held in
reserve in Ordinance 16984, Section 112, Proviso 3, facilities management internal service fund, is hereby released.
