AN ORDINANCE dissolving King County Road Improvement District No. 57.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. The King County council passed Ordinance 16618, establishing the date of special election for Proposition 1 - The Panther Lake Annexation to the city of Kent, and on November 3, 2009, the voters approved the annexation with a July 1, 2010, effective date.
2. The annexed area encompasses King County Road Improvement District No. 57.
3. Road Improvement District No. 57 was created by King County Ordinance 1164 and the final assessment roll confirmed by King County Ordinance 1421 on November 6, 1972. The district was created for the purpose of maintaining and providing energy for street lights within the plat of Park Orchard.
4. Pursuant to King County Motion _______, a public hearing was held on _________, 2010, to dissolve Road Improvement District No. 57.
5. Notice of said hearing was duly published and was duly mailed to each property owner pursuant to the requirements of the RCW 36.88.050.
6. All written and verbal protests were considered.
7. It is further found that all requirements of RCW 36.88.050 and King County Motion _______ have been satisfied.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. There is hereby dissolved a road improvement district in King County known and designated as King County Road Improvement District No. 57 ("RID 57"), as created by Ordinance 1164 and the final assessment roll confirmed by Ordinance 1421. The district includes all the territory shown in Attachment A to this motion, the
RID 57 Boundary Map. All liens and encumbrances associated with RID 57 shall be removed from the subject properties.
