Title
A RESOLUTION amending the interlocal agreement between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District to extend the deadline for notice of renewal of the interlocal agreement.
Body
      WHEREAS, King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District (District") have entered into an “Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District Regarding Flood Protection Services” (“ILA”); and
      WHEREAS, Section 13.1 of the ILA provides that the ILA shall remain in effect through December 31, 2010, but that the District may extend the term of the ILA once for a period of two years by sending notice of the extension to King County on or before September 30, 2010; and
      WHEREAS, the District has determined that Section 13.1 of the ILA should be amended to extend to December 31, 2010 the deadline for sending the extension notice; now, therefore
      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:
      SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors approves the "Second Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District Regarding Flood Protection Services,” which is Attachment A to this resolution, and authorizes the chair of the board of supervisors to sign the amendment.
