AN ORDINANCE relating to the establishment of the realignment of 14th Avenue South and 16th Avenue South from a point approximately 1,100 feet south of the centerline of the Duwamish waterway to a point approximately 1,300 feet north of the centerline of the Duwamish waterway.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The director of the department of transportation has made an examination of 14th Avenue South and 16th Avenue South from a point approximately 1,100 feet south of the centerline of the Duwamish waterway to a point approximately 1,300 feet north of the centerline of the Duwamish waterway along the course and description set forth below and has made a favorable report upon the same, as required by RCW 36.81.050.
SECTION 2. Said rights-of-way shown on Attachment A shall be established as follows:
That portion of the Northeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 24 North, Range 4 East, Willamette Meridian, in King County, Washington, being further described as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of South Cloverdale Street with 14th Avenue South; Thence along said centerline of South Cloverdale Street, S 88º38'36" E, a distance of 3.29 feet to the Point of Beginning, said point having a calculated NAD83-91 Washington State Place Coordinate of N195553.58, E1274397.70 at Engineers Station SPB 22+99.57; Thence N 1º45'40" E, a distance of 230.43 feet to an angle point at Engineers Station AP 25+30.00; Thence N 3º17'47" E, a distance of 140.00 feet to an angle point at Engineers Station AP 26+70.00; Thence N 1º45'57" E, a distance of 39.35 feet to Engineers Station PC 27+09.35 and the beginning of a tangent curve to the right having a radius of 2,200.00 feet; Thence along said curve northerly 532.35 feet through a central angle of 13º51'51" to Engineers Station PT 32+41.70; Thence tangent from said curve, N 15º37'48" E, a distance of 625.22 feet to Engineers Station PC 38+66.92 and the beginning of a tangent curve to the right having a radius of 1,250.00 feet; Thence along said curve northerly 160.79 feet through a central angle of 7º22'12" to Engineer's Station PT 40+27.71; Thence tangent from said curve, N 23º00'00" E, a distance of 132.70 feet to Engineers Station PC 41+60.41 and the beginning of a tangent curve to the left having a radius of 925.00 feet; Thence along said curve northerly 339.60 feet through a central angle of 21º02'08" to Engineers Station PT 45+00.02; Thence tangent from said curve, N 1º57'52" E, a distance of 199.98 feet to Engineers Station SPB 47+00.00, said point having a calculated NAD83-91 Washington State Place Coordinate of N197893.42, E1274847.65 and the terminus of said description. The length of said Established centerline to be 2,400.43 feet or 0.45 miles.
That said right-of-way should be established 100 feet wide, being 50.00 feet typically on each side of the above mentioned Establishment centerline and described as follows:
Beginning at Engineers Station 22+99.57, said point being on the centerline of South Cloverdale Street; Thence parallel to said Establishment centerline for 14th Avenue South and 16th Avenue South to terminate at Engineers Station 47+00.00.
SECTION 3. The King County council finds the establishment of said roadway, along the course and description set forth, is a public necessity.
