A MOTION authorizing the Chair to enter into a professional services agreement with Francis & Company PLLC for accounting and financial management services.

                     WHEREAS, the King County Flood Control Zone District ("the District") has determined it is in the best interest of the District to hire a consultant to provide certified public accountant and financial management services, and

                     WHEREAS, the District issued a request for proposals for certified public accounting services and financial management, and

                     WHEREAS, District staff reviewed the submittals provided by consultants that responded to the request for proposals, and

                     WHEREAS, the District desires to enter into a professional services agreement with Francis & Company to provide certified public accounting and financial management consulting services;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:

                     SECTION 1.  The Chair of the King County Flood Control Zone District is

authorized to enter into the Contract for Professional Services, Attachment A to this motion.
