Title

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to enter into an agreement with the Puget Sound Emergency Radio Network Operator, as tenant, for county-owned land located at 10900 Squak Mountain Road South, Issaquah, in council district nine.

Body

STATEMENT OF FACTS:

1.  The facilities management division determined that the county should award a lease for the county-owned land located at 10900 Squak Mountain Road South, Issaquah, through a direct negotiation with interested parties without bidding pursuant to K.C.C. 4.56.160.

2.  The facilities management division successfully negotiated a lease for the county-controlled land with the Puget Sound Emergency Radio Network Operator.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  The executive is authorized to execute a lease for the county-owned land located at 10900 Squak Mountain Road South, Issaquah, with the Puget Sound Emergency Radio Network Operator, substantially in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance, contingent upon both parties executing an amendment to the lease agreement substantially in the form of Attachment B to this ordinance.  Upon execution of both the agreement and the amendment, the executive is authorized to take all actions necessary to implement the terms of the amended lease agreement.
