AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation of $517,788 to the risk abatement fund for the purpose of paying claims, attorney's fees, and other related costs as stipulated by the Gillis settlement; amending the 2006 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 15333, Section 40, as amended, and adding a new section to Ordinance 15333.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. There is hereby approved and adopted an appropriation of $517,788 to the risk abatement fund from the current expense fund for the purpose of paying claims, attorneys' fees and other related costs as stipulated by the Gillis settlement.
SECTION 2. Ordinance 15333, Section 40, as amended, is hereby amended by adding thereto and inserting therein the following:
GENERAL GOVERNMENT CX TRANSFERS - From the current expense fund balance there is hereby appropriated to:
General government CX transfers $517,788
NEW SECTION. SECTION 3. There is hereby added to Ordinance 15333, as amended, a new section to read as follows:
