AN ORDINANCE making a supplemental appropriation of $1,185,835 to various current expense agencies to fund an elections audit, the citizens' election oversight committee, the King County commission on elections and elections process improvements; and amending the 2005 Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 15083, Sections 8 and 25, as amended.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. From the current expense fund there is hereby approved and adopted a total of $1,185,835 to various current expense fund agencies to fund an elections audit, the citizens' election oversight committee, the King County independent task force on elections and elections process improvements.
SECTION 2. Ordinance 15083, Section 8, as amended, is hereby amended by adding thereto and inserting therein the following:
COUNCIL AUDITOR - From the current expense fund there is hereby appropriated to:
Council auditor $400,000
SECTION 3. Ordinance 15083, Section 25, as amended, is hereby amended by adding thereto and inserting therein the following:
Records, Elections AND Licensing Services - From the current
expense fund there is hereby appropriated to:
Records, elections and licensing services $785,835
