A MOTION appointing a replacement to fill the vacancy in metropolitan King County council district 6 resulting from the election of Rob McKenna to the position of Washington State Attorney General.

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the position of metropolitan King County council district 6 due to the election of Rob McKenna, a Republican, to the position of Washington State Attorney General on November 2, 2004, and
WHEREAS, the 6th council district Republicans have met to consider possible replacements for this position, and
WHEREAS, the King County Republican Central Committee has submitted the names of three nominees for the vacancy;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
Reagan Dunn is hereby appointed to the position of metropolitan
King County councilmember, district 6, effective immediately.
