Body
PREAMBLE:
Section 270 of the King County Charter creates the regional policy committee to develop, review and recommend to the council those regional policies and plans for subject matters established in a work program approved by ordinance.  This ordinance establishes the regional policy committee's 2004 work program and its subject matter for the regional policy committee.

SECTION 1.  Attachment A to this ordinance is hereby adopted as the 2004 work program and subject matter of the regional policy committee.  All countywide policies or plans related to all subjects in Attachment A to this ordinance must be referred to the committee by the council.  Policies or plans related to these subjects that are not countywide are not required to be referred to the committee.
SECTION 2.  In addition to the subjects listed in section 1 of this ordinance, the committee may propose to amend its work program, subject to adoption by the council by ordinance, to include countywide policies or plans related to other subject matter that the committee believes would benefit from interjurisidictional review and recommendations.
