      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The memorandum of agreement negotiated by and between King County and International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 117 and King County and the King County Police Officers Guild representing employees in the King County sheriff's office and attached hereto is hereby approved and adopted by this reference made a part hereof.
 
      SECTION 2.  Terms and conditions of said agreement shall be effective from
ratification, through and including December 31, 2002.
