    1. A MOTION electing the chair and vice-chair of the council for the year 2001.

      WHEREAS, the charter provides that the council shall elect one of its members as chair, and Motion 10651 provides that the council shall elect a chair and vice-chair, both of whom shall serve at the pleasure of the council for a term of one year, unless otherwise ordered by the council;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      For the year 2001, and until a successor is elected, the council elects
Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer as council chair and Councilmember Louise Miller as council vice-chair.
