Title

A MOTION acknowledging receipt of a report on implementation of a Ballard-to-downtown-Seattle water taxi route, in response to the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 109, as amended by Ordinance 18930, Section 75, Proviso P8.

                     WHEREAS, the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 109, as amended by Ordinance 18930, Section 75, Proviso P8, states that $200,000 shall not be expended or encumbered until the executive transmits a report on implementation of a Ballard-to-downtown-Seattle water taxi route, and a motion acknowledging receipt of the report is passed by the council, and

                     WHEREAS, the King County executive hereby transmits to the council the implementation of a Ballard-to-downtown-Seattle water taxi route report, and

                     WHEREAS, the report is submitted by the Metro transit department to fulfill the eighth reporting proviso obligation;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The council acknowledges receipt of the Implementation of a Ballard-to-downtown-Seattle Water Taxi Route Proviso Response, Attachment A to this motion.
