A MOTION relating to parks, trails and open space; acknowledging receipt of the trails-emergency route report as required by the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, as amended by Ordinance 19021, Section 53, Proviso P2, as amended.

                     WHEREAS, by the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget Ordinance, Ordinance 18835, Section 94, as amended by Ordinance 19021, Section 53, Proviso P2, the King County council adopted and the executive approved a proviso encumbering a total of one hundred thousand dollars from the department of natural resources and parks directors office fund and requiring a trails-emergency route report and a motion acknowledging receipt of said report to be filed by June 30, 2020, and

                     WHEREAS, the parks and recreation division of the department of natural resources and parks has submitted the trails-emergency route report including an inventory of all trails owned or operated by the department of natural resources and parks that are listed as emergency routes in any city or county emergency management plan or evacuation plan;

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:

                     The King County council hereby acknowledges receipt of the trails-emergency

 

route report, Attachment A to this motion, as required by Ordinance 19021, Section 53, Proviso P2, as amended.
