Title

AN ORDINANCE relating to road names; changing the name of 276th Avenue Northeast to 276th Way Northeast.

Body

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  The roadway presently known as 276th Avenue Northeast, located in the SE 1/4 or Section 24, Township 26 North, Range 6 East, W.M., and in the SW 1/4 of Section 19, Township 26 North, Range 7 East, W. M. and described as follows:  beginning on the south limits of the city of Duvall at a point 30 feet south of the Northeast Corner of the SE 1/4 of said Section 24, said point being at the intersection of the south right-of-way line of Northeast Big Rock Road with the centerline of the county road presently known as 276th Avenue Northeast; thence southerly along the centerline of said road, which is the line between said Sections 24 and 19, approximately 820 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left where said road departs the section line and travels southeasterly, is hereby redesignated as 276th Way Northeast as shown in the maps on Attachments A and B to this ordinance.

                     SECTION 2.  Notice of the proposed name change has been provided to the affected property owners as required by K.C.C. 16.08.060.

                     SECTION 3.  The director of the department of transportation shall accomplish any necessary sign changes within sixty days of the effective date of this ordinance.

                     SECTION 4.  The director of the department of permitting and environmental review shall accomplish any necessary address change notifications within seventy days of the effective date of this ordinance.

                     SECTION 5.  Any necessary address changes shall be effective ninety days following the effective date of this ordinance.
