Title
AN ORDINANCE authorizing the King County executive to execute an amendment to the interlocal agreement with the King County flood control zone district extending the duration of the interlocal agreement through May 31, 2015.
Body
STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1.  King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District have entered into the Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District Regarding Flood Protection Services, dated February 19, 2009.
2.  The county and the district have amended the interlocal agreement five times, with the last amendment extending the duration of the interlocal agreement through March 31, 2015.
3.  The county and the district desire to amend the interlocal agreement to extend its term to May 31, 2015.
4.  The sixth amendment to the interlocal agreement, Attachment A to this ordinance, amends the interlocal agreement to extend its term through May 31, 2015.
      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The county executive is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District Regarding Flood Protection Services, dated February 19,
2009, substantially in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance.  All other provisions of the interlocal agreement as previously amended shall remain in full force and effect.
