A RESOLUTION amending the interlocal agreement between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District to extend its term through March 31, 2015.
Body
WHEREAS, King County ("County") and the King County Flood Control Zone
District ("District") have entered into an "Interlocal Agreement Between King County
and the King County Flood Control Zone District Regarding Flood Protection Services"; and
WHEREAS, the County and the District have amended the Interlocal Agreement four times pursuant to Resolution FCD2009-04.1, Resolution FCD2010-41.2,
Resolution FCD2012-15.1, and Resolution FCD2013-16.2; and
WHEREAS, the County and the District desire to amend the Agreement to extend
its term to March 31, 2015; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:
SECTION 1. The board of supervisors approves the "Fifth Amendment to the
Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone
District Regarding Flood Protection Services," which is Attachment A to this resolution,
and authorizes the chair of the Board of supervisors to sign the amendment.
