A MOTION accepting the executive response to 2013 Budget Ordinance 17476, Section 108, natural resources and parks administration, Proviso P1; and authorizing the release of $100,000 for the community services area program.

      WHEREAS, 2013 Budget Ordinance 17476, Section 108, natural resources and parks administration, Proviso P1, states that $100,000 shall not be expended or encumbered until the executive transmits by April 1 a report pertaining to the funding allocation model for the community service area program and a motion acknowledging receipt of the report is adopted by council, and
      WHEREAS, the proviso stipulates that the updated allocation model be based on the scope and activities of the community services area program and include but not be limited to:
      1.  The basis of the recommended updates to the funding allocation model for the community services area program;
      2.  The 2013 work plan for the community services area program; and
      3.  Conform with generally accepted principles related to cost allocation; and
      WHEREAS, the executive has prepared and transmitted a report that conforms to the requirements of this proviso;
      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
      The report pertaining to the funding model for the community service area program is hereby acknowledged and the $100,000 currently held in reserve in Ordinance 17476, Section 108, Proviso P1, is hereby released.
