A RESOLUTION amending the interlocal agreement between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District to extend its term and modify certain provisions.
Body
WHEREAS, King County ("County") and the King County Flood Control Zone District ("District") have entered into an Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District Regarding Flood Protection Services; and
WHEREAS, the County and the District have amended the Interlocal Agreement twice pursuant to Resolution FCD2009-04.1 and Resolution FCD2010-41.2; and
WHEREAS, the County and the District desire to amend the Agreement to extend its term to December 31, 2013 and modify certain provisions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE KING COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors approves the Third Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement Between King County and the King County Flood Control Zone District Regarding Flood Protection Services, which is Attachment A to this resolution,
and authorizes the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to sign the amendment.
