STATEMENT OF FACTS:
1. A notice of intention proposing the addition of approximately 24.13 acres to Soos Creek Water and Sewer District for the purpose of providing sewer service for future development was filed with the county council effective December 18, 2003.
2. Soos Creek Water and Sewer District has found the petition for transfer to be sufficient and has concurred with the proposed transfer in Resolution No. 2475-S, passed on July 2, 2003.
3. Soos Creek Water and Sewer District filed a Determination of Nonsignificance on the proposed annexation dated July 2, 2003.
4. The Utilities Technical Review Committee recommended county council approval of the proposed annexation.
5. The county council held the legally required public and has considered the criteria in RCW 57.02.040.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The addition of approximately 24.13 acres to Soos Creek Water and Sewer District for the purpose of providing sewer service for future development described in Attachment A to this ordinance is approved. This proposed annexation is consistent with RCW 57.02.040.
SECTION 2. Soos Creek Water and Sewer District is the appropriate entity to serve the area proposed to be annexed.
SECTION 3. Completion of this annexation does not constitute county approval
or disapproval of any other permits, certifications or actions necessary to provide service to this annexation area.
