AN ORDINANCE authorizing the execution of a new lease to support the operation of the department of public defense.

STATEMENT OF FACTS:

For the lease from Jefferson House, LLC, located at 1401 East Jefferson Street, Seattle, within council district two, the facilities management division determined that there was not an appropriate county-owned option and successfully negotiated to lease space.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  The executive is authorized to execute a lease for the property located at 1401 East Jefferson Street, Seattle, with Jefferson House, LLC, substantially

in the form of Attachment A to this ordinance, and to take all actions necessary to implement the terms of the lease.
