      BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:
      SECTION 1.  The attached 2003 King County Standardized Salary Schedule, 2003 King County 10 Step Hourly Squared Schedule, 2003 King County 10 Step FLSA Exempt Squared Schedule and the 2003 King County Metro Non-Represented Salary Plan are approved and adopted.
      SECTION 2.  Employees of the King County district courts, King County superior court, and the King County council shall have their salaries increased by 2.00 percent effective January 1, 2003.  This increase shall not apply to elected officials, court commissioners, superior court administrator, pro tem judges, or those employees who are in a collective bargaining unit.
      SECTION 3.  Nonelected employees of the executive branch who are eligible pursuant to the Compensation Motion 10262 adopted by council in July 1997 shall have their salaries increased by 2.00 percent effective January 1, 2003, except employees included in collective bargaining units.
