AN ORDINANCE approving and adopting the Coalition Labor Agreement negotiated by and between King County and the King County Coalition of Unions representing employees in the departments of adult and juvenile detention, district court, and natural resources and parks; and establishing the effective date of the agreements.

                     BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KING COUNTY:

                     SECTION 1.  The Coalition Labor Agreement negotiated by and between King County and the King County Coalition of Unions representing employees in the departments of adult and juvenile detention, district court, and natural resources and parks, which is Attachment A to this ordinance, is hereby approved and adopted by this reference made a part hereof.

                     Appended to the Coalition Labor Agreement are the following supplemental agreements:

                     A.  Coalition Labor Agreement (CLA) - Appendix for 080 Agreement between King County and Washington State Council of County and City Employees, Council 2, Local 21AD - Department of Adult & Juvenile Detention [080];

                     B.  Coalition Labor Agreement (CLA) - Appendix for 090 Agreement between King County and Washington State Council of County and City Employees, Council 2, Local 21DC - District Court (Wages Only) [090]; and

                     C.  Coalition Labor Agreement (CLA) - Appendix for 459 Agreement between King County and Technical Employees’ Association, Staff - Wastewater Treatment Division, Department of Natural Resources and Parks [459].

                     SECTION 2.  Terms and conditions of the agreements shall be effective from January 1, 2026, through and including December 31, 2028.
