WHEREAS, the city of Seattle has a grant to encourage arrest policies and enforcement of protection orders program from the United States Department of Justice, Violence Against Women Office, and
WHEREAS, the city of Seattle desires King County to participate in this program, and
WHEREAS, the county has the resources to participate in the program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT MOVED by the Council of King County:
The county executive is authorized to execute a memorandum of agreement, substantially in the form attached, to allow the sheriff's office to participate in the city of
